The project aims to achieve three primary objectives: (1) enhance the quality of life for residents by establishing a public space devoted to recreation, entertainment, and outdoor activities;6 (2) provide facilities that strengthen the social fabric while prioritizing initiatives that promote sports and physical health within the community; and (3) enhance the aesthetic quality of the area, revitalizing commercial and developmental activity in the region. It seeks to optimize the use of the site to serve the community, aligning with suitable activities and events that bring tangible benefits to both individuals and society.7
The project extends over an area of 84,400 square meters,8 passing through neighborhoods, commercial establishments, and prominent landmarks.9 It is bordered at the north by the Meizon Street, at the east and west by the Southern Mawaleh neighborhood, and at the south by the central market for vegetables and fruits, along with the adjacent commercial areas.10 It is designed to provide visitors and residents with recreational, environmental, social, sports, and economic activities. It will serve as a perfect place to stroll, relax, and organize picnics.11 Specifically, the project includes the following components:12 13
