Family Park is a third-generation park1 located in the eastern expansion of Greater Cairo,2 towards Suez City, strategically positioned at the edge of New Cairo near Al-Rehab City and District One.3 Designed as a social and recreational hub, the park aims to enhance the quality of life for New Cairo residents while supporting socio-economic development.4
With the vision of “a garden that connects children and their families in an environment where fun and learning go hand in hand”, Family Park creates an inclusive space where everything is designed to engage children’s curiosity and creativity.5
Inspired by the French garden ‘Jardin de Clacmethion’,6 it seamlessly integrates education, recreation, and patriotism through the Historical Museum which contains models and painted scenes for Egypt through the ages “historically / geographically / militarily” by explaining the four eras that Egypt went through – Pharaonic, Islamic, modern and contemporary with cutting-edge technology and advanced education tools.7
