The cable car project aims to establish Tangier as a premier tourist destination by transforming the port area into a dynamic and accessible hub.5 By seamlessly connecting the city center with the port, it seeks to foster urban integration and enhance accessibility and mobility.6 Serving both residents and visitors,7 the cable car system not only promotes tourism in Tangier and the northern Mediterranean region8 but also supports eco-friendly mobility solution by reducing gas emissions, aligning with sustainable development goals.9
