AUDI Holds Series of Training Workshops to Strengthen Leadership Skills and Improve Municipal Operations Efficiency

As part of its program to strengthen leadership and professional skills within the Jeddah Municipality, the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) organized a tailored series of training workshops. Held from February to April 2025, the series aimed to enhance performance and improve the efficiency of municipal operations. It featured four intensive workshops, attended by 142 members of the municipality’s staff, covering a range of topics focused on capacity building and empowering leaders to adopt best administrative and technical practices.

The series began with a workshop titled “Certified Associate in Project Management,” which introduced participants to the fundamentals of project management and enhanced their collaboration and teamwork skills. The second workshop, “Municipal Work Development Strategy,” focused on strengthening strategic thinking and developing solutions to improve the quality of life in cities. The third workshop, “Asset Management and Privatization of Services,” addressed advanced methods for managing municipal assets and encouraging investment partnerships. The program concluded with the fourth workshop, “Preparing Executive Plans and Capital Portfolios,” which emphasized capital planning strategies and organizing municipal portfolios to align with strategic priorities.

These workshops underscore the institute’s dedication to boosting municipal development and providing personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to manage city transformations.
