AUDI and the American Planning Association (APA) Meeting to Enhance Collaboration and Exchange Expertise

The Arab Urban Development Institute met with the American Planning Association (APA) to explore avenues for collaboration and exchange of global expertise and knowledge to enhance urban planning in Arab cities.

During the meeting, several topics were discussed to strengthen cooperation between the two parties, including designing an “International Program for Urban Planning and Design in Saudi and Arab Cities,” providing a range of global guides and references in Arabic, and increasing the presence of Arab municipalities and cities at urban events both in the United States and internationally.

Founded in 1917, the American Planning Association is a professional organization for urban planners dedicated to advancing the urban planning profession through partnerships to offer developmental programs in areas such as urban resilience, quality of life, land use planning, sustainable transportation, urban community development, housing, and urban regulations and legislation.
