AUDI and Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation Launch Municipal Innovation Training Program for Specialists from 29 Arab Cities

The Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), in partnership with the Bloomberg Center for Public Sector Innovation at Johns Hopkins University, has launched an executive training program for Arab municipal leaders. The program is tailored to equip participants with innovation methodologies to address urban challenges and develop viable project proposals. Delivered through virtual sessions over seven weeks, the program brings together 85 municipal leaders from 29 cities across 10 Arab countries. It aims to strengthen the capacity of city leaders with innovative tools to tackle urban challenges, support municipal institutions in leading change and developing effective, sustainable public policies, and enable participants to design practical solutions for the challenges facing their cities. Upon completion of this training program, participants will receive a Johns Hopkins University-accredited training certificate and gain access to the Global Municipal Innovation Network, providing broader opportunities to exchange knowledge and learn from cities’ experiences in developing viable urban solutions.
