The Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) signs a cooperation agreement with the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman.

To strengthen cooperation between Arab cities and municipalities, AUDI signed a cooperation agreement with the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman.

The agreement was signed at the Ajman Municipality Headquarters, which took place in the presence of AUDI’s Director General, Dr. Anas Al-Mughairy, and the Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department, Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, along with several officials from both sides.

The Director General of the Institute pointed out that this agreement is the culmination of research projects and training programs to enhance innovation and knowledge exchange in urban planning. He stressed that collaboration with the municipal service reflects the Institute’s commitment to supporting stakeholders in their pursuit of achieving sustainable urban development.

The Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman stressed that the agreement represents a significant advancement toward realizing Ajman Vision 2030. Furthermore, it fosters the development of urban policies and enhances the efficiency of human resources, thereby supporting the sustainability of Arab cities.

The agreement encompasses the implementation of specialized training programs, the exchange of research and urban studies, and the organization of collaborative workshops that contribute to enhancing human resources. It also focuses on strengthening municipal institutional capacities and supporting the development of urban policies and specialized development plans.

This collaboration reflects the involved parties’ commitment to establish effective strategic partnerships to address future challenges. It also serves to strengthen initiatives that support the development goals of Arab cities and the well-being of their communities.
