AUDI Organizes Training Workshop Titled ” Preparing Executive Plans and Capital Portfolios “

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance urban governance and strengthen institutional capacity, the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), in collaboration with Jeddah Municipality, held a specialized training workshop titled ” Preparing Executive Plans and Capital Portfolios” from April 27 to 29, 2025.

The three-day event, which included 18 hours of in-person training, brought together 35 municipal staff members. It is part of a broader initiative to strengthen institutional capacity and advance effective urban planning across municipal sectors. The sessions were specifically designed to meet the practical demands of fieldwork, focusing on real-world applications and hands-on learning.

The workshop set out to accomplish several key objectives, including:

• Empowering participants to grasp the fundamentals of capital planning and recognize the importance of preparing executive plans for municipal projects.
• Developing skills to organize capital portfolios aligned with the strategic priorities of local authorities.
• Applying practical methodologies to prepare effective executive plans that enhance efficiency and sustainability in project implementation.
• Providing tools for analyzing and evaluating capital projects to improve their alignment with sustainability objectives.
• This workshop is part of the AUDI’s ongoing commitment to delivering impactful training programs that align with the ambitions of Arab cities to elevate municipal performance and boost efficiency in project management.
