The Presenter

Guest: Dr. Layal Abi Esber

An environmental and water resources engineer with 20 years of experience in the fields of climate change and sustainable environmental management among others. She received her PhD degree from the American University of Beirut in 2014, and is the author of more than 13 publications related to her field of work. She joined the UN-Habitat Lebanon Office in March 2022 as climate change specialist where she is leading a project funded by the Adaptation Fund and related to increasing resilience to climate change related water challenges in Lebanon and Jordan.
