PLATFORMA is a pan-European coalition of towns, regions, and their associations engaged in city-to-city and region-to-region development cooperation. As an expertise hub, it enhances local and regional governments’ contributions to EU development policies and international frameworks. PLATFORMA envisions a world where no one and no place is left behind, fostering citizen trust and ownership in local policies. Its mission includes shaping EU development policy, promoting international cooperation, and facilitating knowledge exchange and innovative approaches among towns and regions. The organization operates through five clusters focused on decentralized cooperation, the 2030 Agenda, global citizenship education, geographic coordination, and national focal points.
