Connective Cities

CONNECTIVE CITIES is a joint venture between the Association of German Cities (Deutscher Städtetag), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Engagement Global with its Service Agency Communities in One World. The International Community of Practice for Sustainable Urban Development is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). the International Cities Platform for Sustainable Development CONNECTIVE CITIES was set up to promote the worldwide exchange of municipal expertise and, with its services, supports peer learning and collegial consultation between German and international urban practitioners as well as the development of joint projects. The aim is to network urban actors from administration, politics as well as from business, science and civil society with each other at a high professional level.
