Port Said Governorate

Port Said Governorate, located in the northeastern part of Africa, is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, El-Manzalah Lake to the south, Ismailia Governorate to the east, and North Sinai Governorate, El-Manzalah Lake, and Damietta Governorate to the west. Covering an area of about 1,517 km², it has a population of approximately 789,241 people, according to the Ministry of Planning’s 2022 audit report. The governorate’s economy is diverse, encompassing industrial, logistical, agricultural, tourism, and commercial activities. It comprises seven neighborhoods (East, Suburbs, Arabs, Flowers, Al Manakh, South, and West), the city of Port Fouad, and Salam Misr City.
