AUDI Director General Receives Assistant Minister for Development, Training and Digital Transformation

H.E. Dr. Anas Mofarreh Almughairy, Director General of the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), received Prof. Dr. Esam ElGohary, Assistant Minister for Development, Training and Digital Transformation and General Supervisor of the Saqqara Local Development Training Center, during his visit to AUDI’s headquarters in Riyadh. 

The meeting highlighted AUDI’s key areas of work in its programs, including Urban Policy Research, Training and Capacity building, and Partnerships and Cities Dialogue. Discussions also explored areas of mutual interest focused on strengthening the capabilities of local administration personnel, enhancing institutional performance and efficiency, and advancing digital transformation. 

The meeting also highlighted the Saqqara Local Development Training Center’s experience in upskilling local personnel and enhancing the training ecosystem, as well as its role in capacity building and institutional development, alongside its training and digital transformation programs and initiatives.

The two parties explored opportunities for cooperation in training, capacity building, and the exchange of expertise and knowledge. Discussions also focused on developing joint programs and initiatives to enhance the efficiency of local personnel and support the advancement of urban work in Arab cities, reinforcing AUDI’s efforts to build effective partnerships with Arab institutions specializing in local development.
