The Urban Poverty Program

Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) tackled the issue of poverty through a program that helps cities and local authorities prepare and implement programs and projects that aim to alleviate urban poverty. The Urban Poverty program aims to help in the evaluation of experiences and show the best practices associated with projects of combating urban poverty in Arab cities. The program also provides training to qualify the municipal personnel for setting, supervising, implementing and follow-up of programs and projects on urban poverty alleviation. AUDI seeks strengthening the role of the private sector and civil society associations as well as regional and international organizations that work on urban poverty alleviation.
